I have three children and have used Active Birth Yoga for all pregnancies. I feel these classes are the only way to prepare yourself for birth. You get great yoga, support from women in a similar situation and lots and lots of information. I can't recommend these classes enough.

Postnatal Yoga / Mother and Baby Yoga Print

Postnatal Yoga is specifically designed to support the new mother through physical rehabilitation and emotional and spiritual nourishment.
 
The Mum&Bub Yoga is a 4 week course.  The aim of the course is to provide the new mother with knowledge, skills and confidence to continue to practice yoga, relaxation, meditation and baby yoga in your home environment.  Baby Massage forms a significant part of this course as you shall learn massage for the whole body as well as adapting it to toddlers and older children.
 
The yoga postures will help to improve circulation, restore pelvic floor muscles, strengthen abdominal muscles, care for the back, postural awareness and strengthen muscles to support caring for the newborn.
 
Post-natal yoga is an opportunity to nurture the mother using breath awareness, relaxation and meditation. To establish and nurture the bond between mother and baby you will enjoy time together with baby yoga and baby massage.
 
Children take us into the tight inflexible parts of ourselves and give us the opportunity to soften and surrender bringing stillness and peace into the family.
